Course Description

This course is intended to impart in you the skills and attitudes required to produce pastry products.

Objectives

By the end of this course, you should be able to:

  1. Select ingredients for yeast products, pastry and cake making
  2. Prepare yeast mixes, pastry and cakes
  3. Produce yeasts and pastry products as well as cakes,
  4. Assess the quality of cakes, yeast and pastry products
  5. Portion, present and garnish your products appropriately
  6. Store your products well
  7. Observe hygiene rules
